Week 20: Best week so far !!

They say that week 20 marks the half way point and for me it has marked the highlight of pregnancy.. On Tuesday, Nov. 24th we found out that baby Ni is a SHE !!!  We are sooo excited.  Jim could not attend the appointment with me so my girlfriend Erin came with me and when it came to determining the sex i closed my eyes and they printed the appropriate picture and put it in an envelope.   Well that was after 30 minutes of trying to get Baby Ni to open her legs... She was being really stubborn. She kept facing the ultrasound so they could not get a profile and she was all tucked in so you couldn't see her women hood.... THat's my girl...   .. But after alot of pocking and moving on my part she finally spread em!!

   Once Erin and I got back to work we called up Kristen and waited in Jim's office.. We did an unveiling and WALLLAAA .. its a girl!!!  then i gave jim the pink Eagles Jersey i had gotten him and it was official .. we are mom and dad of a little girl.  Jim has adjusted to the idea and now we are ready to start the process of preparing :)

THe other fantastic part of this week is that since Sunday i have been feeling baby more and more every day.  At first i would have to lay down or relax to feel her and now i can sit at my desk and work on the computer and feel her kicking .. She is a rock star .. and when i eat she gets all worked up.. That's my girl ..

Anyway .. with the kicking and girl news we are on cloud nine .. And i have a baby belly like a rockstar .. so everyone knows who is mama in town .. I love it !!
