We're Pregnant - 6 weeks & 6 days

So in the last week we found out we are pregnant and we are in a whirlwind.  After taking 3 pregnancy tests, a late night run for a digital test and finally a doctor's appointment... we now are convinced that we are having a baby.  

Jim and i have been ready since January but still weren't prepared when the doctor actually told us we were pregnant.  Because of my irregular cycle we could be any where between 11 weeks and 6 but on Thursday, Aug 20th we had our first ultrasound and found out we are 6 weeks and 6 days today.  So our due date is April 12th.  Very exciting!!!  Since the ultrasound we have been referring to the baby as "ricey" .. since it is the size of a grain of rice  :) .. Here is our first official picture.

We have told our parents and they are so excited for us. Now it is hard not to tell the world. We want to wait till first trimester is over but every night out where i am not drinking people have questions. So we are fielding the questions one at a time...

We are now looking at new cars and daydreaming what our baby will look like.  Let the next adventure begin !!!
